As part of the TA training program, OCRD staff member Kadomatsu Satoshi led a basic video editing workshop in Japanese at the Ookayama campus.
The workshop was offered twice, on Wednesday, July 9, and Monday, July 14, 2025, with the same content. A total of 12 participants, including OCRD TAs, attended the workshop. In addition, a faculty member from Joshibi University of Art and Design visited and later exchanged ideas with OCRD staff about organizing media workshops.
Participants learned the basics of video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and created videos with background music and subtitles. At the end of each session, several students presented their completed videos.
Participants gave positive feedback, including comments such as “I was able to understand the key points of video editing,” and “I would like to apply what I learned in my TA duties.”
OCRD plans to continue offering workshops that enhance TA skills and support their activities.
